Miniplane are a refreshing yet distinguished company not interested so much in simply styling but more in the fundamentals of efficiency in their design. The Top 80 engine is a testament to his ingenuity.

The Top 80 Is a world renown, tried and tested engine, famed for its, simplicity, yet unrivalled in its reliability. The Miniplane base in Northern Italy has a rack of test engines on their work benches, under constant evolution. Their fuel injection model yet to be released has already 400 hrs airtime without fault. Miniplane is a company that takes their finished product very seriously.

As the UK importer for all Miniplane products, there is no other company better placed to offer advice and information regarding the Top 80 engine and Miniplane paramotors. We keep a large stock of parts available and if its not on the shelf, we have a direct link to the factory in Northern Italy, with regular shipments arriving.

Russ is Miniplane UK! He has been involved in Paragliding and Paramotoring since learning back in 2002. He's a qualified British Hanggliding and Paragliding Senior instructor in paragliding and paramotoring.
He's worked wit biggest and busiest BHPA schools in the UK and Europe, traing hundreds of pilots to fly both paragliders and paramoto

He entered the British Paramotor Open Competition for the first time in 2021 and came a respectable 5th as well as being awarded the Best Newcomer award.
He's passionate about the Miniplane brand and has a great knowledge of the Top 80 engine, If you have a technical question about Miniplane's or the Top 80, he's your man! Along with his wife, Heather, they are the guy's you'll be dealing with at Miniplane UK.

Mike Page started flying in 1996 in the Royal Air Force as a Navigator, and got his Private Pilot’s Licence in 2001. He started Paragliding in 2018 in Bavaria and then converted to PPG in Spain in 2019. He entered his first flying competition in 2019, the British Open Paramotor Champs, where he finished second in the British rankings an
Mike Page started flying in 1996 in the Royal Air Force as a Navigator, and got his Private Pilot’s Licence in 2001. He entered his first flying competition in 2019, the British Open Paramotor Champs, where he finished second in the British rankings and 4th overall. In the 2021 British Paramotor Champs he finished second overall and won the Navigation Cup for best overall navigation performance. Mike is a Member of the British Paramotor Team.
Mike specialises in long-distance flights, and chose the Miniplane Rigid with 140cm prop and 18L tank because of its long range capabilities. His longest flight so far was 4 hrs and 40 minutes, and he still landed with 4 litres of fuel! He says “I really like the economy, reliability and light weight of the Miniplane Top 80 and I’ve had great support from Miniplane UK before and during competitions”. Future plans include Icarus X UK, World and European Competitions as well as the XContest FAI Triangle Competition, aiming for a UK number 1 and a World Top 5 place in 2021.
