Thankfully, Diego designed the engine to be easy to maintain and look after. If you're comfortable on the tools, you can use the maintenance schedule to keep your engine in tip top condition. Top 80 Annual Service
From £100
- Replace all fuel lines and filters
- Inspect and rebuild carb with genuine Walbro parts.
- Replace engine suspension mounts.
- Inspect crankcase seals
- general condition inspection
Top 80 50 Hour service
From £150
- Check condition of reed valves
- Check condition of clutch
- Compression test, remove cylinder head and de-carbonise the piston & head
- check condition of spark plug and piston ring - changing if necessary
- Drain and replace gearbox oil
Top 80 100 Hour service
From £180
- As per 50 Hour service +
- Check condition of main engine bearings and crank seals
- Check condition of cylinder bore, polish as necessary
- Replace piston needle roller bearing
- Replace piston ring
- Replace clutch connectors and springs
Top 80 WG 8 Carb Rebuild
From £50
- Send your carb in the post
- We disassemble and inspect components
- Clean using ultrasonic technology
- Rebuild using genuine Walbro spares - included in price
- Re-calibrate metering lever height and pop off pressure to factory specs.
- Return via Royal mail with new Carb gaskets included.
